Description

A striking 1970s chequerboard marquetry round ice bucket (barrel) with a mix of different tones of wood cut into squares. The bucket has a lid with a cork inner to keep it in place. The inside of the bucket has a cream plastic liner which keeps the barrel watertight. There is an angular metal handle on top which hinges up and down to allow the lid to be removed easily. The base is covered in green felt to avoid scratches on furniture and also the original Cambridge Ware sticker.

Amazing as part of a retro bar or man cave – just an asbolute mid century gem!

Excellent order with no chips or cracks

W – 14 cms at widest part
H – 15 cms with lid on but not including handle
