Description
This is a lovely wood good sized box with a hinged lid, internally it has three drawers – two small at the bottom and a double width at the top. To keep the box shut (you could padlock it). There brass flower edging decoration the top and three sides. There are brass plates in corners and in the middle of each side. The inside of the drawers are unlined. As you open the clasp and pull down the front it slightly lifts the box up. The drawers have a little brass pull handle.
The box is in good vintage condition with a few minor scratches and wear but this does not detract from it.
This box would be so useful in so many places; the hall, kitchen, bedroom or living room. We especially think it would be great jewellery box.
We absolutely love it – it’s cleaned up beautifully. The new owner will not be disappointed.
