Description
This ceramic tea caddy or jar is a celebration of and a homage to the famous series of Castles, Cathedrals and Bridge caddies produced for Ringtons Ltd, in the late 1920s, then produced by Wade Potteries in 1989.
Initially produced to commemorate the North East coast industries Exhibition of 1929 , the original caddies of the series which consisted of Castles, Cathedrals and Bridges from the Ringtons delivery regions of that era and are amongst the most sought after and coveted pieces of Maling pottery.

York Minster
In good condition and a very useful piece in the kitchen or dining room.
