Stunning Very Heavy 1960s Murano Glass Ashtray/Bowl in Turquoise/Teal

Description

This is a stunning piece of teal/turquoise Murano glass. Originally produced in the 1960s in Italy, it was meant to be used as an ashtray as there are two indents in the shape where you could rest a cigarette. Obviously these days smoking accessories are not very sought after, but easily could and would have been used as a decorative glass art or bowl. Particularly effective with lights catching it. The amazing shape screams of mid-century too. The colour, weight and shape are all amazing.

IT is in great condition with just a few scratches on the base (see photos) obviously you can’t see these as they underneath. No other chips or cracks.

A stunning piece for a Murano collector.
