Description

Who doesn’t love a little vintage jug? Obviously it can used for milk or cream, but we love them as cute little planters, holding pens or teaspoons. We have them on the dressing table full of make cup brushes.

This is a very unusual ceramic jug, on the front it has a red coated hunter and horse jumping a hedge with a hound running at the bottom. The other side has a whip and foxes tail on. The spout comes out of the mouth of the moulded head. It has an angled handle in the same colour as the foxes head. It is marked on the base “‘England”. There is some minor glaze crackling inside. There are no cracks or chips.

The jug height is 9 cms
Width foxes nose to handle edge is 9 cms – opening diameter is 3.5 cms
